Joy and her program JumpforJoy training have been a VITAL part of rehabilitating dogs, from basic training to more behaviorally challenged dogs. From minute one, she has always been loving and caring to us, the persons she is training, and the dog(s). She is extremely responsive, respectful to every single team member that’s in touch, and perfectly capable with ANY AND EVERY dog training modification you want accomplished. That is why I am writing this review, for reference how incredible Joy has been and a true blessing. She always uses positive training, is on time, and makes a DIFFERENCE. She does this for the genuine love of animals and belief in their ability to succeed. To give you an example, she has personally taken the responsibility to rehabilitate some of our dogs with separation anxiety, making families comfortable with leaving their home without stress, after just a few months. She has helped others with leash walking and reactivity, emphasizing the consistency of training, compassion, patience, and kindness. Our fosters and alumni are now confident and feel safe walking their dogs and having them interact with others. She is so talented and her training has always come through for ALL of our dogs that Joy has been asked to work with."
